I haven’t previewed the string-out functions of Lumberjack before, but here’s one from a test today, ahead of the HPA Retreat this week where we’ll be showing it with live demos
That was a test interview of seven questions, with me playing the part of the subject. Two cameras.
- Five minute interview, logged real time with Lumberjack.
- Four minutes to ingest to Final Cut Pro X and create multiclips.(Including media transfer)
- Two minutes to export XML, process in Lumberjack – requesting a string-out of the answers from my interview – to having a logged Event in Final Cut Pro X, with a (very) basic string-out of the useful material.
Where there are multiple people answering the same questions, then we can create string-outs for each of the answers – based on the logged metadata – as a subject-based starting point string-out.
In other words, just what you’d probably do yourself, just faster. First look (and best chance to influence development direction) is at the Hollywood Post Alliance Retreat Demo room this Tuesday evening, Wednesday or Thursday to end of lunch.
